I am married to Ellen Reeves, and we live in Raleigh, NC.

We have two wonderful girls. Alison has graduated from UNC-Asheville and now works at a beautiful place, the North Carolina Arboretum, in Asheville. Rosemary is a student at UNC-Wilmington, so the girls have us stretched from the mountains to the sea. 8-)

Ellen was until recently a research technician at NC State in the Entomology Department (yep, she likes bugs!). She has also been a dedicated Girl Scout Leader, and volunteers as an after-school tutor for elementary schoolkids.

Ellen's Mom (Elizabeth McIntee) and my Mom (Dorothy Reeves) both live in Louisville, Kentucky, where we grew up. We love to see them. We usually get down to St. Teresa's Beach in Florida once a year to unwind at the family beach cottage. My brother Michael Reeves and his wife Teresa (hi, Mike and Teresa!) live near St. Louis, Missouri. There's also a special place in my heart for Fitzgerald, Georgia, where I have lots of family.

Below is a picture of (l to r) Ellen, Alison, Rosemary, and my Mom, at Alison's high school graduation. Ellen's Mom couldn't join us because she had two other grandchildren graduating the same weekend!

A more recent picture of us, at Rosemary's high school graduation, is below:

We all love the outdoors. We own some land in the mountains of southwestern Virginia (in Grayson County, near Mount Rogers), and like to spend time up there. I like gardening, music, reading, and like everybody I enjoy traveling.
